Built with Baileigh 💪💪 @chris_rusch is on the home stretch…..no pun intended 😉 ・・・ So, today I finally made a backing plate for the grill and got it mounted up to the #12packhotrod frame. Worked out pretty slick, it mounts the radiator/fan/grill pretty smoothly. It all comes apart really easy so if I ever need to get at the radiator or anything, piece of cake. Go give him a follow 👊👊 @chris_rusch @chris_rusch @chris_rusch ・・・ Got a little time in on the #12packhotrod grill today. Made a inner frame structure that will give something to wrap it around. Took some finessing, but I was able to make it fit real nice. Used the #baileighbeadroller to tip a nice crisp line around the grill shell 1/2”. Started wrapping the frame, went pretty good. Once I had it almost wrapped all the way, I used the bead roller with a rubber top wheel and closed it up…. It didn’t get super tight, so I hammered and dollied it tight. I’m pretty happy with it, it really made the whole structure strong. Eric and I were forming a hood center area to fill where the original hood scoop cutout resided. The @baileigh_industrial #powerhammer was first used to bring up the crown in the center. Then after braking the edges we shrunk the sides to get a similar shape to the front fenders. The Little Giant hammer base build is done! Oiling it tomorrow and will anchor it to the floor when the hammer arrives just in case I need to shift it a little one way or another. It is 3.125” thick and is 22”x29”. The iron is .250” wall and it has 4 sections of 1/2” all thread running through it.
