It’s been a LOOONG time I don’t post on Tumblr and I’m back for feed the French Revolution community more AND MORE btw I can applause myself bc I FINALLY draw “correctly” Robespierre. [Maxime at 2 months omfg that horrible] yayayaya.

After Metatron was nominated for the position of Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale went to his bookstore to share the good news with his friend Crowley.

Crowley, with a lump in his throat, spoke first when he saw his angel. He explained to Aziraphale that what they felt for each other was love, and that they had spent their entire lives pretending there was nothing there.

Aziraphale, who had initially been in a hurry to tell Crowley his incredible news, ended up listening to him attentively and reflecting on everything they’d been through—all the good times they’d shared.

Aziraphale, brainwashed by Heaven, begins to lose sight of what’s truly important to him…

Crowley, seeing that his friend isn’t responding, decides to step forward and ask his angel what he had been so eager to tell him earlier.

Aziraphale, looking hesitant, explains the news to Crowley: the fact that Aziraphale can now take command as an archangel and that Crowley can fully regain his angelic status.

Crowley, taken aback, began to lose his temper and raise his voice. He knew his angel was naive and that he wanted only one thing: to do good around him, to save humanity.

Aziraphale, seeing that Crowley was getting upset, spread his angelic wings and comforted Crowley by enveloping him in a gentle embrace.

Crowley, surprised by this gesture, brought his face close to his angel’s, hesitating to press his lips against his.

Aziraphale saw the love Crowley’s eyes and sensed his desire to kiss him. Feeling a bit shy, Aziraphale took the plunge and placed a light kiss on his lips.

Crowley, taken aback, took a step back after this gesture and then quickly wrapped his arms around Aziraphale like a snake clinging to its prey.

Crowley murmared, « Thank you, my angel. »

Aziraphale, happy in that moment, flashed a magnificient smile that spoke volumes abouts his love for his demon.

The two of them slowly sank to the floor, blissful in that moment, but a problem resurfaced: Metatron’s proposal, which began to cloud the minds of our two protagonists.
