Giving Asteria a challenging yet teasing look, Remy raised a brow and gestured to her tiny form with a tilt of his head. "You? Dragging me to safety. Ohhh, poppet, my pride- I don't know how much more it can take." He said, smirk on his lips as he followed after her.
Within a few moments, his playful demeanor flickered, following step in step now that he was next to her. "Besides, we both know my girls would kill me if something happened to me. I don't think I can survive another round of their attempts at 'doctoring,' not after that last time." Reminding her of his two daughters, the twins, Remy quickly let her take the lead, knowing full well that she knew just exactly what she was doing and that she had the better sense not to get in the middle of anything. He was only there for the ride, remember?
"T'be fair; I get that chance pretty often, pet." Winking at Asteria, Remy raised a brow provocatively, the flirty banter between them feeling all too familiar. "And when has someone saying anything ever bleedin' stopped me from looking?"
Once again following her lead, he raised his handgun to the correct line of sight- blue eyes focusing on his three targets. Nodding his head once in response to her directive, Remy rocked back on his heels at 'one' and at 'two' before finding traction and sprinting forward, keeping himself out of sight as he deftly took out the first man, making quick and easy work of the second and third only to be slightly annoyed at the hidden fourth man.
"Blimey, mate, have some dignity." He muttered to himself, striding up to one of the secondary targets, his head shaking just as the other man lunged forward with a knife, having long run out of ammo before the second target's blood even touched the ground.
The moment he spotted the smaller weapon, the handler gave the man an exasperated expression before his instinct kicked in. Hand already wrapped around the other's wrist as he neutralized the threat, kicking the useless weapon away as he caught the man by his collar and pulled him into a choke hold before simply applying the riiiiight amount of pressure to- the moment the satisfying "Snap" was audible, Remy dropped the body, his head shaking at the man's corpse.
"They get stupider and stupider every bloody year, don't they?" He mused to himself.
Turning his head to catch sight of his Spider, he saw the woman tackle the man they were actually after, the one that caused the death of all the other fuckin' henchmen, and looking as graceful as possible while pouncing on him.
How did she do that? She didn't even look like she had a strand of hair out of place while Remy, on the other hand, was ruffled up and covertly running his gaze over Asteria's form with a small, soft chuckle, inaudible to anyone else.
"Admit it, you just like doing that. The whole... this." Remy called out, having been left on the staircase above the now glass-covered floor, gesturing to the scene in front of him with a grin, wiggling his brows before jogging down the rest of the way to meet her.
Moving to kneel down, he began to pat the unconscious man's torso roughly as he hummed softly in response to her query before making a slight triumphant noise and pulling out their target's phone. "Lift his head up- no this way; no the other 'this way'- ...no, not facing there, facing- yes! There, hold his face... up, somehow?" Remy directed Asteria as he tried to get the goddamn phone to unlock, making a small sound of contentment when it did.
"Apparently, someone's been naughty. He has files and files of this shite, jeezus." Muttering under his breath, the blonde kept rifling through the phone's contents until he found it. "Here we go, the list of all the people we're after."
With a smirk, he glanced up at her and nodded towards their mark. "You can let go of 'im now, lovvie. You wanna do the honors or-" Shutting up the moment he heard the silenced gunshot emerge from Asteria's weapon, he nodded in respect.
"Coulda jus' said that, y'know? No need to be so dramatic." Was all he replied with, teasing her.
