He died in the early 1960’s after building the house Mom lived in in High Rolls, NM. I found a trove of his pictures in the barn. Oran’s crew drank a lot. I heard from a neighbor who remembered him that he also ate with gusto and finally dropped dead of a massive heart attack. Since I love old pictures you can see what a treasure this is.
