Challenge #04655-L271: Improper Parcel Preparation
What happens to a poor postal worker delivering a package some idiot wrote βNon-Flammableβ on, even though the contents are VERY LIKELY to spontaneously burst into flames? -- Deathshead419
As far as Lyle was concerned, this parcel was plastered with overly specific denials. All hand-written over every possible space. Not flammable, they said, Definitely won't spontaneously combust. It was also laid all over with "Handle With Care" and "Fragile" stickers. One of the hand-written warnings, in worrying crayon, said, Store it in cool, dry place.
There was only one conclusion.
This parcel was packed and labled by an idiot. A very specific degree of idiocy that read all the cautions and the ever-growing list of things that people weren't allowed to send by the mail, and figured straight-up lying would let them get away with this horseshit.

Lonely Mountain Wax Seal
This was my second attempt at making a wax seal :)
You can buy the seal stamp here
I used three different shades of wax beads, metallic blue, light and dark metallic green.
Really happy with how it turned out :)
With all the support I've been seeing for the USPS, I'd like to take this time to tell you about Philip B. Downing.
Born on March 22nd, 1857, Philip Downing created the design for the modern day postal box. The USPS were looking for an updated and more efficient way to mail letters. Before Downing's invention (in 1891) people would have to go to a post office in order from mail a letter. Downing's design for the hinged opening prevented rain or snow from entering the box and damaging the mail. And so his invention is the predecessor for the modern day mail box.
Some other cool infomation about Philip Downing:
One year earlier, Downing patented an electrical switch for railroads which allowed railroad workers to supply or shut off power to trains at appropriate times. Based on this design, innovators would later create electrical switches such as light switches used in the home.
The issue with the 'USPS should close' arguement is that it's main focus is that it doesnt make a profit.
Do Americans not realise that not everything has to make a profit, has capatilism fallen into the very cracks of your country that you cant live without it, if its a goverment run thing it shouldnt have to make money, if you need it for the country to run why is it for-profit and if it is for-profit like most postal systems are why does it have to be in the green?
I am confusion, america explain,
