Under the cut is a tutorial on how to make a header gif, like the one above, as requested by anonymous. You'll need Photoshop to do this (I used Photoshop CS6), but I personally think it's easy enough to be completed by beginners. Please like or reblog if you found this useful!
The next thing I did was open up my gif.Â
I clicked this little buttonÂ
and then clicked Select All Frames and then Copy Frames. Then I went into the document I had just made and pasted them. When the little dialogue box came up, I hit Paste Over Selection.
So, then I positioned my gif where I wanted it to be (you have to have all layers selected for this to work - you can do this by pressing shift and clicking the first and then last layers).
Making sure that all layers are above the brush stroke, right click and then press Create Clipping Mask. This will put the gif inside of the brush stroke.
I then put my text where I wanted it to be, putting a stroke and a drop shadow. I used Trash Hand in 72pt font, then used a 1px stroke and a drop shadow with these settings:
Now you're done! You'll want to go into File and then Save for Web. Make sure your looping option is set to Forever, and then save!
