THE PAST IS A SOURCE OF STRENGTH NOT WEAKNESS.
Your past is not a burden meant to hold you back—it is a foundation built from lessons, resilience, and growth. Every challenge you have faced has shaped your character, strengthened your spirit, and prepared you for the future ahead. Scars tell stories of survival, and mistakes carry the wisdom of experience.
Instead of dwelling on regret, embrace your journey with pride. The struggles you overcame prove your courage, and the lessons you learned illuminate your path forward. When you view your past as a teacher rather than a chain, it becomes a powerful source of confidence and inspiration.
Stand tall, honor your journey, and remember: your history does not define your limits—it reveals your strength.

Entry #2 - Creativity
Hi, friends! ☺
Welcome to my second official entry on my blog, "the positivity corner"! The overwhelming feedback on my first entry (posted last Saturday) makes me so optimistic and filled with joy for the future of this safe space. After a mishap at my university which caused me to have to quit the campus newsletter, I was very unmotivated with my writing. Thanks to you all, my first entry has been shared and reblogged more than five times this week along with over ten likes. That's crazy!
Okay, that's enough about me. In my last entry, I spoke about "Easter eggs", which are little things that pop up unexpectedly in our lives. They can appear anywhere at any time. We might not understand why they're placed in these certain spots, but later on, you might think something along the lines of "Wow! This really made my day!". I enjoyed reading about the "Easter eggs" that you all spotted this week. My mom even texted me after reading my article that she saw geese crossing the road and that was her "Easter egg" of the day.
Today, we'll be diving into a specific "Easter egg" that I like to call creativity. Do any of you have a hobby? I know I do. In my spare time, I love to write stories and create music with my voice and my guitar. Occasionally, I like to draw little cartoon animals. My favorite thing to draw is a bunny modeled after my own who is sitting right next to me as I write this post.
Creativity doesn't explicitly have to be in the arts. For example, I have a very good friend who plays volleyball. I went to her game on Friday night and the way she played and had so much passion for her sport made my entire week. Every athlete puts their own spin on the sport(s) that they play. That's what makes this person creative and therefore unique from everyone else.
There is so much beauty in everyone's creative mindset. In fact, the mind alone is so intricate and powerful that it is even more amazing than we can imagine. Whether you like to draw, paint, play an instrument, write, play a sport, etc., it is all beautiful and therefore positive, which is what ties creativity into our "Easter egg" topic. The fact that everyone has a unique mind and creative aspect to this world is incredible.
As you read this entry, you might be thinking that you need to get off of the couch and do something active in order for it to be considered creative. Do you really have to do that?
No!
Creativity is different for every person. Most of my creative juices flow while I'm typing on my laptop. It might not seem like much, but it is the absolute world to me. The ability to interact with other people online through my books that I have written and published makes my entire journey worth it.
So, whether you're a very outdoorsy person who loves sports, an artist - or writer - who can take a blank sheet of paper and fill it with color, or anywhere in between, let your creativity flow! You impact more people than you ever know when you share your talents with the world. You might be inching out of your comfort zone, but once you release yourself into the world, you never know how much positivity you can give a person.
If you got this far, thank you so much for reading! I'll see you all in my next post!
P.S.: For anyone wondering what Neo (my bunny) looks like!
