You can’t expect to be successful if you’re not building on a firm foundation. That foundation being Christ. I wouldn’t have half of the success I have now, if I didn’t put God first. Towards the end of the year I was dealing with some depression & it’s ultimate goal was to drive a wedge between the relationship I had built with God over the past year. I had gotten to the point where I had let other things take over & I wasn’t honoring God & putting him first & I didn’t realize this at that moment. But what I felt was that my heart posture wasn’t right so I prayed, I asked God to help me to understand what was happening & help me to change it. Last Friday I received a message from a random Pastor of a mega church in GA telling me God told him I needed to come to his church, that I could even live stream it. I prayed about it & asked God if this was from him & to clarify the purpose. & yall, all he gave me was the word EXPOSE. So I’m thinking all kinds of crazy stuff. I let it go & went to @thecourageouschurch on Sunday & my pastor preached on first fruits & honoring God above all else. & it hit me in my heart strings because I needed a change. I needed more intimacy with God & to honor him more. Monday night I decide to listen to this pastor in GA & his sermon was on first fruits & honoring God first above all else & then that word expose came back. God had to expose my heart in elaborate way so I would be reminded of his promise to me as long as I honored him. Isn’t it crazy how he will go to great lengths to reveal something to us that we desperately needed to hear? He cared so much about me that he wanted me to know this & sent a message in a crazy way so I wouldn’t stray away from my purpose like I would have in the past.
