Tumblr won't let me link it for some reason, but does anyone know where the latest (uploaded 8 months ago) footage of Kooser Rd's Pizza Time Theatre during the 70s came from? It was uploaded by CEC Master on YT but I haven't been able to trace down where it came from at all. Kinda at my wit's end skimming through various news reports about CEC trying to find it
According to the aptly named Pizza Time Theatre channel on YouTube, the segment was originally from a show called "Real People", and the episode it aired on was Season 3, Episode 13. This show aired on NBC, and according to Wikipedia, what made it interesting was that "Real People featured "real people" (as opposed to celebrities) with unique occupations or hobbies."

YOOOOOO, NEW GAAPS STORYBOARD JUST GOT ADDED TO THE CHEESE-E-PEDIA
the fact that the cec corporation trashed ALL of their portrait animatronics is so fucking dumb, they could just sell it on ebay for hundred of dollars
now, the only portrait animatronics that exist (?) are chuck and crusty 2nd gen, but the owner is afraid to air them bc it may destroy the latex masks :(

Here’s a really cool one! It was posted by the Pizza Time Theatre facebook page. It’s the ORIGINAL PROTOTYPE CHUCK E. CHEESE ANIMATRONIC!
Apparently, he could move his eyes and mouth. Not much, but a great sign of things to come!
Still have the rest of the Pirate cove crew to finish but for now have the originals and their updatesdThese might be updated at a later date if we ever get a full ref of the original designs in the fnaf world (like party time chica being the first chica)
Here's a cool find from animatronics_clay_guy on instagram! It seems to be an earlier version of the standard cyberamic. I put a pic of a standard bot for reference. This photo was taken in the Sacramento store, the 4th PTT to open and the 2nd one to open with cyberamics. It's interesting to see a unique version of something that was supposed to standardize the animatronics' look.
From what I can tell, his nose is more pointy and longer. It's more akin to the shape of the earlier latex portrait bots. His vest is also more in line with early portrait bots with the white and red design opposed to the later brown and red color. Weirdly he has no tooth and it's a little hard to tell if his irises have color or are just black dots. His jaw also seems to be attached by fabric to the rest of his mouth. I don't really know how to explain it, he just looks like a muppet. I think he has a cigar but it's really hard to tell. Hopefully more photos are found of this guy. Maybe some early promo material or who knows? Maybe it could be seen in one of the lost commercials!
