In hit web series red vs blue Carolina uses two weapons letting you know it takes place in halo three where the player is able to dual wield some weapons, this is also why her name is Carolina because she is both Carolinas. In future games you are not able to dual wield and this is why she is often referred to simply as Lina, to avoid confusion of calling her north or south because those are already characters in red vs blue. This does however suggest the existence of Carol, the other Carolina, who wields her weapons in the opposite hand and is also a different Carolina. One must wonder if Carolina feels complete as just Lina or if in her passive one gunned state she yerns for the symmetry of a whole Carolina.
