Popoi has been one of my most favorite characters ever since I was 13, and every 2-3 years I like to make a fully rendered drawing of him to measure my growth. That and the fact I failed to draw him last year are two of the reasons I made this; the third is that I wanted a Halloween profile pic to use elsewhere but had already used both of his artworks last year, so I just thought "screw it i'll make my own". This started as a headshot but I had so much fun with the sketch that I decided to just do a full drawing. I like how Popoi himself came out, but I'm not really fond of the background. I played around with changes for a week but couldn't get anything I liked, oh well. Also I FORGOT HIS TAIL I'M SORRY I'M SORRY don't call me a fake fan I promise it's because his cape was originally wrapped around his body but I changed it rather late in the drawing process... (in my defense he sometimes lacked a tail in Fever) I also hope it isn't too obvious I don't know how to draw capes...
