Part2

A multiple part story about Garmadon and Misako having a healthy relationship full of love. In this part, Young Misako tries to surprise Garmadon, but things don't go as planned.

"Keep him just a little longer." Misako pleaded with Wu over the phone.

"I'm trying, Misako." Wu sighed and secretly glanced at Garmadon. "But I think he's had enough and just wants to go home..."

"Please, Wu." Misako begged him. "Just a little longer. It's important."

Wu was silent for a few seconds and then sighed. "I’ll try my best."

"Thank you, Wu!" Misako said and cheerfully hung up the phone.

She planned to surprise Garmadon. A romantic dinner was a good idea, but it was too late to book a restaurant.

Fortunately, she had a few tricks up her sleeve when it came to cooking.

"Come on, turn on..." Misako said nervously as she tried to turn on the oven.

"Come on, come on!" Misako shouted frantically while trying to fix it. It seemed like the oven was intentionally provoking her.

"There has to be a way..." Misako said while searching for directions from the oven."There must be a reason!"

Garmadon whistled while walking home.He was tired because Wu had really worn him out.

Garmadon felt like he was the one doing everything in his power to keep him from going home.

"I’ve arrived!" Garmadon cheerfully said as he entered the house, only to find an interesting sight.

"Stupid..." Misako muttered, banging her head against the oven. "...Oven! Stupid..."

"Hey, hey." Garmadon said, worried as he walked over to Misako. "You’ll just hurt yourself."

"I don’t know what to do!" Misako exclaimed, resting her head against the oven.

"What happened, love?" Garmadon asked, rubbing her back.

"I was planning to make you a surprise." Misako sighed. "But now everything has fallen apart."

"What do you mean everything has fallen apart?" Garmadon asked, leaning his head against hers.

Misako pointed to the uncooked dinner.

"You still surprised me." Garmadon tried to comfort her. "I really didn’t expect you to bang your head against the oven when I got home."

"Shut up." Misako smiled and playfully nudged him with her elbow.

"When it’s the truth!" Garmadon defended himself.

"In any case, our romantic dinner has failed." Misako said, pulling her head away from the oven.

"I have an idea." Garmadon said, putting his arm around her neck.

"You know, there’s something about having popcorn for dinner and watching the same movie for the hundredth time." Misako said, hugging Garmadon even tighter.

"Popcorns are actually a really good dinner, you know." Garmadon said, looking at Misako who held her head on his chest, his arms wrapped around her shoulders.

"Seriously?" Misako raised an eyebrow.

"It’s very low-calorie." Garmadon explained what he meant. Misako felt like rolling her eyes at that.

"Don’t worry, babe, I put a lot of oil." She said and pecked him on the cheek.

"You can feel it a little." Garmadon admitted, resting his head against hers.

"This movie isn’t so bad either." Garmadon tried to find a positive side. "The best that’s available."

"It’s really bad." Misako said, laughing.

"What’s funny about that?" Garmadon asked curiously.

"The fact that I’m watching it with you." Misako said, pulling away from his embrace to look him in the eyes. "And that’s the most beautiful thing in the world."

"You really mean that?" Garmadon asked with a smile, holding her chin.

He looked her in the eyes. He could spend the whole day just staring into those eyes.

"Of course." Misako smiled at him and kissed him on the lips.

She wrapped her arms around him and he around her. He slowly ran his hands through her hair as their lips remained connected.

When they finally separated their lips, Misako whispered in Garmadon’s ear, "You know, the best part of this movie is just starting."

Her breath was so warm on his skin.

"Who cares about the movie." Garmadon said, pulling Misako closer to plant kisses on her neck. Misako gasped in surprise at that.

She lightly glided her hands over his neck and back. Garmadon then kissed her again on the lips and held her like that.

She was right.

Their love truly was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Last week of the term, let's do this! Quite an emotional week last one. Endgame, Hamilton (for the second time) and crying over essays.
