Ugh so much Simon Cowell and Sony garbage, worst Valentine ever, all the entertaining stuff is in part two but this will be fun stuff too when these fuckers are burning so here's the dirt...

Okay first of all I screwed up yesterday about the X Factor stuff but things move fast so if you just read this you'll be caught up hopefully, assuming I did better today, fingers crossed. It will be on this year. It seems the ITV contract is good for this year and after that is unknown, which is interesting since Popbitch today mentions that in just November Simon was saying that the show was contracted with ITV until 2022. Simon and the Sun (aka his mouthpiece/lapdog, no offense intended to innocent doggies) are saying that it will of course get picked up for another three years (and will go back to its regular format) but willllll it? According to Popbitch, the only reason they're letting it happen at all this year is that ITV can't get out of Simon's contract (hmm sounds familiar). Anyway, riding the publicity, Simon today busted out with the usual Sun exclusive announcing (or as one headline put it, threatening) that there will be two X Factors this year, a celebrity one and a past contestants one, both judged, and the 2018 judges, including Louis, are "being lined up for both shows" which sounds to me like a way of saying they aren't lined up at all but okay sure. Whatever's happening and however it's spun, you can't escape the real story which is that that show is dying and Simon's image is deeply intertwined with it so it ain't good for him.
