I've started a couple of projects - two to be exact.  I am hoping to get started on one later this weekend, turning bottles into glasses.  Exactly two nights ago, while PPP, the only place to eat in town, was super busy, I ran in to grab two armfuls of empty bottles of alcohol.  Almost cinched the idea that I'm crazy in the minds of unsuspecting and unknowing residents.  But these bottles are going to be turned into glasses and other finished goods to then sell & put a part of proceeds towards different island groups.

Right now, I am finishing up gloves for John Barry, then I have a hat to make for Howie (the bus driver) and one for another man in town.  I love knitting for specific people, thinking good thoughts and of my appreciation for their in existence in my life, hoping that when an item is worn, the wearer feels the warmth of the love and care I knit with.  If you want something made with love, head to http://etsy.com/shops/EliKnits
