I’m STILL conflicted about posting works in progress but I need to post it somewhere/ I still have no idea what this is, I just know that I saw the bit of Super where Gohan wore a track suit and thought…. All things considered, that could’’ve gone worse. So this is my “worse” i suppose. In this What If, Frieza decides to abduct gohan instead of killing him and the other two get roped into it.. Things go badly. If I said I wasn’t inspired by the “Cold World” fanfic where Gohan joins the Frieza force, I’d be lying. Poor Gohan. He has it rough. Anyway lots of this is placeholder but what the hell.

A break in his studies warranted a leisurely surf around the wealth of knowledge and entertainment the internet had to offer. One thing lead to another and, before long, he ventured to a site boasting a plethora of writings called “ fanfiction. ” As he scrolled through the selection, he began to note names he recognized: Vegeta, his father, Bulma, Hercule and Majin Buu...And then he stumbled upon his own name and Ninazu. Flattered, curious, and no more to go on than a short description, he clicked the link and delved into the content.
The tale started off innocent enough: the two of them had just moved in together as Gohan started University in the city. Sweaty and worn out from moving the boxes of almost exclusively books, Gohan opted to take a shower. While he expected the focus here to then move to Ninazu, as writing about someone taking a shower hardly counted as compelling story telling, the writer instead detailed “him ”turning on the shower to the optimal temperature, the removal of his sweat-drenched clothing (unrealistic considering the minimal amount of strain moving boxes would actually put on him ), entering the shower, and a play by play account of rubbing the soap on his body.
Just when he hovered the mouse toward the red “X ”in the corner of the screen, skimming eyes roved over Ninazu entering the bathroom and sliding into the shower behind him. Warmth rushed to his cheeks, the Ninazu characters wresting the soap from “his ”hands and offering to “ take care of that for him. ”
He could only stand to read a paragraph more, those roving hands inching a little too low and setting his whole face on fire. He slammed the lid of his laptop shut and stood abruptly, nearly toppling his desk over in the process. Air. He needed air. He threw his window open and zipped into the air, willing the crisp, spring breeze to rid his mind of the images assailing it.
