Humble him!

Mouse (the cat) brought in a mouse (the animal), and I obviously didn't know this until I noticed him lurking near my brother's bike, which is in the small hallway to the front door. This dumb fuck was looking down the line of shoes that we have and the mouse was literally huddled up right the fuck behind him. I walked over and shielded it from view with my dressing gowns (I wear two at a time) and was like "is it dead?" But NO. BRO WAS NOT DEAD. So I scooped it up into my hand and it didn't like that, so I let it chill in the crook of my elbow and stroked it a little - the entire time, Mouse is still looking at the line of shoes, by the way - and I was gonna put it outside just like that, but it was so cold outside and it was obviously so warm in my elbow so I felt bad and grabbed one of my shoes *with Mouse AND Ducky now* both looking around as if this mouse isn't cuddled up in my elbow, and then went outside (at one in the morning, mind you), placed the mouse in my shoe and just left it on the doorstep because the cats can't get out the front way and they're obviously fucking STUPID. Went back inside and Mouse was still hunting around as I went upstairs.
