She uses a fake perfume/patches/cream. She still goes to galas and big events and being in an elite school means someone could connect the dots.
Rumira exclusively but Zoey makes her appearance as Mira's Chaotic bestie.
Rumi's awkward but earnest behavior wins Mira over, because Mira believed Rumi to be like the typical nepo baby Alpha, who wanted her to be the good obedient wife that just stands there and looks nice pregnant with their third baby.
But Rumi respected Mira, she never touched her without her consent and always praised her intelligence as a top law student.
Mira was worried about falling in love with Rumi while still loving Minho then Zoey comes and says"you know polyamory exists, right?"
Mira plans to talk with Rumi (who is oblivious to Mira's feelings on both sides) about Minho.
Then someway (I have no idea how) Mira discovers that Minho is Rumi, waits for their next time they are alone (Maybe Minho room) is movie night and Mira says she has the perfect movie and BAM evidence of Rumi lies.
It goes absolutely horrible, Mira doesn't let Rumi talk and when she does Rumi fuck up and Mira leaves clearly barely containing her tears.
As part of Mira's backstory (and a HC mine) she had a friend, later BF that she loved and trusted, she wanted to marry him and move away from everything. He was insistent about being there for Heat and always tried to go further with her but Mira herself wanted to wait a little more.
Then one day she heard him talking with his friends about, how fucking tired was dealing with her high maintenance ass and the only thing a frigid bitch like her is good for is to fuck. That is when it hits her, that his behavior/words are the fucking as her parents, he is manipulative piece of shit.
She breaks him and breaks his nose.
All this causes her trust issues and make insecure about someone truly loving her.
So yeah Mira's reaction to the truth is really bad.

this is for an au I’m nicknaming the Calamity au. Basically each straw hat goes through their worst timeline/has a worse version of their life in canon. Also Roger never became pirate king in this au he died on laugh tale with the rest of his crew (except Shanks and Buggy. They’re important later on.
Luffy is working on a Marine base for Garp away from Sabo who is back home with Dadan. Ace passed away a couple months before the story starts. His design is based on his beta design.

Nami is the captain of the Arlong Pirates. She took over the crew after killing Arlong. She comes off as cruel and greedy but she secretly wishes she could go back to her life with bellmere and nojiko.
Usopp is a butler at Kaya’s mansion. He takes care of the sickly girl until her final days. He is then blamed for her “sudden” death by Kuro and is outcast by the village. Merry and the Usopp pirates try to stand up for him though they fail.
zoro became a recluse after Kuina’s tragic death not coming out of his home since.

@millenniumringg While developing the plot for Ascension I've started to listen to a lot of Massive Attack ("Come Near Me" is actually a song with a very intense music video from them that has heavily inspired a certain scene) and I just heard the bizarre lyrics of "Psyche" and to me this 100% sounds like Cornered Malik reminiscing of the trauma he and Ryou went through. You can disagree with me but man, I feel sad for them now.
