Tintin entered the Poohniverse????
AND SOMEHOW NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT IN HERE?!?!
So the other day I was browsing Letterboxd and peeking at Hergé's profile/credits when I stumbled upon this:
And I was like... is this a mistake??
So I logically clicked the film and saw this:
By this point, I was already thinking that it might've been because Tintin in the Land of the Soviets entered the public domain in 2025. Still, I began to do research until I found the confirmation I needed:
And no, the tweet was not a joke. During a Q&A session for the film Peter Pan´s Neverland Nightmare, they basically said they were excited for Tintin's inclusion and have "this interesting idea" for him.
So... basically, we'll see Tintin entering the campy horror genre before we get a sequel to Spielberg's film.
And you know what? Fuck it. It's better than nothing. I'll take it.
