After Ru left Shocc’s workshop, Integrity finished their project.

Originally, I’m sure this painting was supposed to be an exchange item, but when I saw what it was I decided to have them keep it.

Unlike the painting, Shocc’s project was actually a statue for Isol Isle’s port, and not him sculpting in place of making a new building or household item. Unfortunately for both of us I didn’t know that the stone version of the mermaid statue looked crap compared to the clay or wood (can’t remember which) version he first produced.

Anyways, he’d nearly finished working on it by the time Integrity came inside from having lunch and sat down to study.

I love how it looks like they’re studying their dad.

Shocc sent Integrity home before he was through, and after the eldest triplet turned their homework in at the make shift school, they headed home to lounge awhile.

Shocc arrived a little while later. Ru went out to greet him with a welcome home kiss.

Ru’s day off took him all over the home side of the island.

After fishing he stored the part of his catch he didn’t intend to eat that day, and stopped to say hello to the family dogs on his way to visit Shocc’s workshop.

At the Blacksmith, he worked on a private project (likely a decorative item for the house), while Shocc and Integrity, who was apprenticing with him, finished up a larger project (no idea what this was though, lol).

Once this stop was complete, Ru headed back to the house, where he quickly washed up, before preparing some fresh salmon he’d caught during his morning fishing trip.

With his second meal of the day complete, he ate in silence, before diving into yet another cookbook, and technically violating his day off rules to act very much like his workaholic husband.
