I love the angst of this and imagining the fight that would have had, and I love any reason to imagine a Sebtana friendship.
I've had this image in my head for a while now based on Is It Over Now? and the line "At least I had the decency To keep my nights out of sight Only rumors 'bout my hips and thighs". And it's of Sebastian keeping all of his various relationships under wraps, keeping them as out of sight of Blaine as he possibly can out of respect, but when Blaine gets married and his Facebook relationship status changes, or other Warblers at the wedding start sharing photos, Sebastian gets irrationally upset about it. Like, I kept every hookup, every boyfriend, out of sight because I didn't want to hurt you, but you can't have the same respect? And he knows it's irrational, he knows it's not the same, but he can't understand why it hurts so much to see Blaine marrying someone who isn't him.
Sebastian not feeling like he has the right and Blaine not wanting to let himself feel the happiness with Sebastian (lest he realize he's not actually happy in his current relationship) feels so spot on, I'm obsessed with that. And the idea of Blaine reuniting with some of the Warblers and getting pulled into a group chat with Sebastian fills me with such excitement. How do they react? Do they just kind of ignore each other in the chat for a while, never responding directly to what the other says? Does it start with Blaine not talking to him out of respect to Kurt but then when Sebastian does the same he starts to wonder if Sebastian hates him now? Does he reach out to see what's wrong and how he can fix it? Or does he just wallow in the feeling of someone he once thought of as a friend, maybe even his best friend, not even wanting to acknowledge his existence?
The strain of pretending it's just friendship getting to them again and again and again and pulling them apart, but the undeniable connection they have to each other always bringing them back together every time, just *chef's kiss*.
