Gintto is the result of an unstable Crossover Fusion between the notorious Captain Ginyu and the mysterious Transform Pokémon, Ditto. The fusion combines Ginyu's tactical genius, military discipline, and infamous Body Change ability with Ditto's limitless biological mimicry.

Unlike either of its original counterparts, Gintto is a constantly morphing lifeform. Its body appears armored like Ginyu's battle armor, but beneath the armor is a gelatinous living organism capable of flowing like liquid and reshaping itself instantly.

Rather than simply copying appearances, Gintto perfectly replicates an opponent's voice, powers, fighting style, energy signature, and even muscle memory. Every battle allows Gintto to become stronger by collecting biological and combat data.

As the self-proclaimed Supreme Commander of the Mimic Legion, Gintto invades planets by infiltrating civilizations, replacing powerful warriors with perfect copies before launching full-scale invasions from within.

Its favorite strategy is confusing allies until no one knows who is genuine anymore.

Origin Story

During a dimensional disturbance between the Dragon Ball and Pokémon universes, Captain Ginyu searched for the strongest lifeform capable of improving his famous Body Change technique.

He discovered Ditto—a creature capable of transforming into nearly anything.

Attempting to possess Ditto's body with Body Change unexpectedly triggered a dimensional fusion instead of a body swap.

Rather than one controlling the other, both consciousnesses merged into an entirely new being.

The result was Gintto.

Now existing beyond the limits of either universe, Gintto seeks to absorb the abilities of the strongest heroes across countless worlds, believing that perfection can only be achieved through endless imitation.

I know I've already done one of these already but after seeing the words on this pot, I was inspired to create this image above.

Also this gives me the opportunity to reveal some more info on Shadow Latigasus.

Shadow Latigasus was a shiny version of its species before it fell to darkness, but it still has the shiny sparkles/sound effect when it enters battle. I also kind of jokingly like to imagine that this is also the case for cutscenes, like even before it comes into view you hear that noise. I also have an idea for a scenario where the player/hero character is walking through some ruins when the cutscene kicks in you hear that noise so you know its coming, so the character carefully looks around a corner and see's-a different shiny Pokemon, the player character looks confused as its reveal by the camera angle that its behind the player/hero, glaring daggers at the protag.
