Wait a minute. I just realized something completely bullshit with Gen.9 coming so soon.
With the announcement of Gen.9 on the horizon, we basically have confirmed that among all the Gen.8 games (SWSH, BDSP, and Arceus, you *still* cannot get every PokƩmon in the National Dex. Specifically:
Yungoos and Gumshoos
The three elemental monkeys
Ducklett and Swanna
Sewaddle, Swadloon, and Leavanny
Patrat and Watchog
Alomomola
Furfrou and all itās forms
Crabrawler and Crabominable
Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon. Including all the butterfly variants
Skiddo and Gogoat
Pikipek, Trumbeak, and Toucannon
Chespin, Quilladin, and Chesnaught
Minior
FlabĆ©bĆ©, Floette, and Florges, including all the flower variants (these appear to be in the Gen.9 games thanks to screenshots, but stillā¦)
Tepig, Pignite, and Emboar
Snivy, Servine, and Serperior
Oricorio and all itās forms
Deerling and Sawsbuck and all itās forms (especially insidious since their season mechanic has basically been scrapped since Gen.FIVE)
Blitzle and Zebstrika

Froakie, Frogadier, and Greninja, nor Ash Greninja (BIG shocker right here, like what the hell?)

Because of this, the PokƩmon Company have firmly told every player wanting to complete the National Dex that they *must* have every game, and utilize every transfer feature.
But wait, thatās not the bad part.

This includes digital versions of all Gen.7 games, all Demo versions of each game (bye bye Ash Greninja, Pikachu with hats, Totem PokƩmon!) and Pokemon Bank.
And since they didnāt include every Pokemon in Gen.7, this is now a goddamn strangle and tangled web of ensuring players can even complete a National Dex.
And what will happen when the Switch Eshop is closed down? Or what about other exclusive variants? What is to be the fate of those exclusive Forms????
God this franchise has gotten down bad.
I just escaped World of Warcraft, I really donāt have the stress for another frustrating franchise. š£

Iāve been rewatching the old Pokemon seasons lately and the one thing that never bothered me as a kid but what I noticed a lot nowadays is the constant use of animals in the Pokemon episodes.
Like this sudden appearance of a mongoose a Ghastly summoned to scare off Ekans, sayingĀ āthe natural enemy of a snake is a mongooseā. Thereās also a lot of fish that can be seen in season 1 which are obviously not Pokemon, but animals.

You know, Iāve played though the seventh gen games a few times now, just recently, I donāt know if itās been pointed out yet, but when you first arrive in Heahea City, you run into a Stoutland Rider next to the Pokemon Center. I believe that this NPC is the biggest JERK in the entire game. She blocks the entire road off because she wants to gather all the hidden items for herself, and no one can pass her or do a damn thing about it. Iām pretty sure that NPC tops the most evil NPC list of Sun and Moon and USUM. Sorry, just had to give some thoughts before I end up forgetting lol
