Gible, Bagon and Jangmo-o often suffer from growing pains while their teeth grow in. Teething, which helps calm them down, often causes old teeth to become embedded in whatever they chew on. These naturally shed fangs are often kept by Trainers as a memento of their Pokémon's younger years.

Ah this is the nature of pokemon with immense power.

Mythical pokemon get that name due to their scarcity and powers that arent always able to be confirmed due to things like time.

Jirachi is known to grant wishes, last time it was seen, it was known to teleport items, however it was heavily studied last time.

Aparently it can create things with the true eye on its stomach, and thats where its true power lies.

Creating things is an incredibly powerful but demanding ability, especially for something so small.

It is also said that they might wake up for small periods of time, but they are also pretty aware when sleeping.

I wonder if they dream about the people they met while awake?

Maybe thats the beauty in Jirachi, that you might be able to make such a strong and lasting bond for such a short period of time, even though you might not be able to see each other again.

If you think of Jirachi as a small device recharger and its trying to power a whole house, you arent going to get much power, but if it does last for a moment or two, you might be impressed.

They have a whole lot of power but need so much time to restore it, that they just need a good long rest.

It would be nice to not need to sleep for so long, but I havent met one or explained it to them that they shouldnt need to, but who knows. Maybe one day someone will be able to tell them.

Ah, while those aren't native here I do know a little about litwick, though not so much as some of my associates that work with similar pokemon. Litwick are actually vitavore pokemon, and they subsist off of absorbed life energy- which you notably do not have once you have died. Their evolved forms may be able to burn up spirits, but they're far too small for that at this stage.

As a rehabber, do you have any good enrichment ideas for psychic types?? My espeon is getting bored of his puzzles and I can't keep losing socks to that theif 😭😭

hehehe, i cant promise youll stop losing socks (the eeveelutions especially love hiding socks) but i do have some ideas for you!

so, firstly, even though they can be comparitively frail physically, they do need physical enrichment as well! "sniff walks" (walks where instead of focusing on distance you just let em sniff and follow around as they explore) are a great way to exercise mind and body if you arent the type to do frequent battles.

giving them appropriate items to hide, such as plushies or catmon toys, is also a good idea. if you see him with a sock, give him a toy instead. the hiding of items is a natural instinct, after all! ya just need to redirect this instinct to appropriate things. it could also help to hide food and let him find them, giving him the experience of foraging for food!

i also recommended toys that stimulate their drive to hunt, let them catch the "prey" and hide it after a bit to give them a more fun and better item to hide instead of socks

psychic types are great at getting into things, so you may also want to invest in a psychic resistant pokemon-safety lock to help keep your socks safe as well!
