Love is coming... related
Claude Monet. Woman with a Parasol (Study of a Figure Outdoors, Facing Right), 1886. Musée d’Orsay Paris.
Sooo I was scrolling thru instagram and I saw a reel about which plants one could add to create a goth garden—it was beautiful by the way—and I thought:
"I can't grow a garden but I can maintain a flower vase."
And I just... sat like that for a moment, with my phone replaying that reel over and over, not really acknowledging it. It just hit me how easy it is to use and throw things away and how hard it is to let them grow.
It feels a little poetic.
I don't have the time/patience/understanding to grow a simple plant and care for it, but I can put a dying one in my room as decoration and throw it away when I have no need of it.
Do you get what I mean?

sometimes I’m what people would call “normal” and other times I feel the compulsive urge to dress like I’m a mildly sickly, very pale, stylish and a little bit haunted poet who may or may not secretly be part of something called the “overarching narrative,” no idea what that is but it seems important
