I am sad to report that Mr. Pteropodidae has left us for good. He had a good long life, over 17.5 years of being spoiled and petted and allowed to drink my water, but kidneys fail them all eventually.

I have woken up early to drop His Podliness off at the vet, only to be told he might be ready in an hour (this was lies) so I didn't go back to sleep, just waited and waited until I could go get him. I don't know who's happier he's home, me or Pod.
Either way, that is one expensive cat. Please appreciate my ancient void.
The TriPod is home! He's doing a lot of sleeping, much of it on me, but he's healing like a champ. He's been home for less than a day and already he's standing on his own three legs sometimes. What a good boy!
Poddleston loves goat cheese and got himself covered in it while licking the empty container.
TriPod at rest, starting to grow back his fur and everything. He's adapting so well!

On the table next to where I work there's a couple of small blankets folded into a kitty bed, so of course Pod chose to sit in the papers on the other side of the table where I can't pet him, and then look sad about the lack of pets.
TriPod is doing well! Eating, cuddling, spoiled.
Pod successfully hopped down from the couch with relative grace, and then walked all the way to the kitchen before he got tired and flopped!
For those of you that know and love Mr. Poddles, please keep him in your thoughts tomorrow, when he is losing his leg to cancer. The prognosis is really good for recovery, but you know. Sucks to go from Pod to Tripod.
Also, if you want to support him and my now-massive credit card debt, join my patreon or find me on ko-fi. Optional, but much appreciated!
