hi! i saw you liked immortals after dark and wondered if you had any similar book recs? iโm almost done w the series and need something to fill the void lol
Unfortunately I haven't read anything as electric and witty as IAD... I've been on a hunt for some books and I've read over 100 paranormal/romantasy books :(
I've tried Gena Showalter, Nalini Singh, Christine Feehan, Ilona Andrews, and JR Ward. They weren't for me.
You might enjoy Kresley Cole's other books! She recently released "Ravenous" which is a AU to IAD (but there's definitely going to be some crossovers in later books).
I've enjoyed Opal Reyne's dragon shifter books (I read them before I read IAD, so idk how it holds up). The first few books from the Dragon Kin series by G. A. Aiken were fun!
Bride by Ali Hazelwood was definitely heavily inspired by A Hunger Like No Other.
Honestly, a basic answer but The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare have a similar character depth and paranormal world, but it's not a romance series. Romance is pretty heavily involved but it is a YA series. I also love The Folk of the Air by Holly Black, but again it is YA. It's not focused on romance and ofc there's no smut.
P.S. the lykae are my favorite, so I usually stick to shifter romances and cozy omegaverse.
