Dear diary, today I watched another 12 episodes of dragon ball super.
Ok, lemme start from the beginning...
So I started watching this anime series on Monday and I’ve watched like 81 episodes so far. In this blog that I gotta write I’m gonna tell you what this series is about (spoiler alert).
So this follows the aftermath of Goku's fierce battle with Majin Buu as he attempts to maintain earth's fragile peace.
In the first few episodes everything’s peaceful, Goku, his friends and family lives happily. BUT some bad happens: Beerus, the God of Destruciton has awoken. He saw a prediction in his dream about a so called “Super Saiyan God” that he now tries to find.
He and his teacher, Whis travel to the north Kaio’s planet to get more information about this Super Saiyan God, and accidentally run into Goku, who’s training there at that time.
Goku challenges Lord Beerus but gets easily beaten even in his Super Saiyan 3 form.
After sparing with Goku, Lord Beerus visits Vegeta, the second strongest Saiyan, hoping he might know something about this new God.
Unfortunately (not for Beerus) Vegeta is at his wife’s birthday party when Beerus visits him. Only Vegeta knows that he’s the God of Destruction and that he could easily erase Earth from the universe. The others simply assume that he’s one of Vegeta’s friends.
After getting in a good mood because of the delicious food he never tasted before, Beerus decides on not destroying Earth this time. HOWEVER Majin Buu, who after being defeated conquered his evil side and turned into a good guy, ate all the pudding and left non to Lord Beerus. This angers him so much he decides on destroying Earth after all...
Luckily one of the Bingo grand prizes are the 7 dragon balls, which with they summon Shenron the dragon God, who can grant 3 wishes. Goku, who came back to Earth to stop Lord Beerus asks Shenron to tell him how to find a Super Saiyan God. Shenron tells him that there is no such thing as a Super Saiyan God YET, but tell him how to create one. They need 4 Saiyans who give their energy to the fifth one, so he can become a Super Saiyan God. Unfortunately there are only 4 of them on the party ship.
And this is where the flabbergasting moment came: Videl, Son Goku’s son, Son Goten’s wife told everyone that she carries a baby, who is also a Super Saiyan. With her (the baby) they could finally transform Goku into a Super Saiyan God so he could fight Lord Beerus and save Earth.
This was like the first 6-7 episodes’ happenings. I’ll continue next week.
