Yuri paused mid-cool down at the sound of footsteps falling on the floor above.  The century-old floorboards complained loudly under heavy boots and an unsteady gait. Like clockwork, his new roommate emerged as the city wound down for the evening- which usually meant a sleepless night for Yuri.  “Oi, asshole!!” he called out, grabbing the broom he kept handy near the door of his studio.  With a forceful swing, he rammed the handle against the ceiling. Flecks of paint chipped off and fell like snow onto his immaculate flooring, but he couldn’t find the energy to care.  “Keep it down up there!”---I got a little carried away with this one!  I feel bad for everything taking so long, so here’s a little unedited Six Sentence Sunday to tide it over!
