So Human of You by Shireen Okay okay so this part in particular: Drag me down, underwater I can't breath, no one saves me Drag me down, into sorrow Take my hand, I'll drown you with me A lot of Lyla's playlist has water imagery, considering she's a Tully, but this song is very much a "fuck around and find out" where it's basically like, yeah maybe I'm going down but you're coming with me. I definitely picked this one because it's a very Roose/Delylah song and representative of the fact that Roose marrying Delylah is essentially the death knell for him.
Celeste:
Wicked World by Cold Love was the fuel That drove your sin When the majesty followed you The witches dance The night begins And the heart's taking over The royalty won't wash away It's his scent that's inside of you This one is heavy on the Cahir/Celeste dynamic, because it reflects the fact that Cahir is in love with Celeste and that's what drove him to turn his back on Emhyr. The last part of these lyrics is very much alluding to Cahir and Celeste's child, and that it doesn't matter who the father is, because Celeste is the mother, the royal line continues with her.
