Hey folks! Happy New Year!
I did a little thingy on my Ko-fi shop, if you are an avid note taker at rpg session, then this the perfect occasion for you!
I have created this player notes. It's easy, readable, and printable. Works best for dnd 5e, but I suppose it can be converted for other rpgs too (or, if there's a demand, I can design more kind of players' notes).
It contains
a characters sheet,
description,
familiar sheet,
class and racial features sheet,
spells,
session notes,
places and peoples' notes.
Feel free to note down everything! I have made some text prints for myself, and in my opinion it works best for a A5 format.

The script load of sim Settlements 2 was too much to bear so we did a fresh install everyone meet Violetta she's a fresh merc whose party got torn to bits coming from central mass and we are running the current wander build of life in the ruins.
About level seven right now she's a slowpoke bruiser specializing in bladed melee (machete currently) and automatic weapons. There's a lot of changes away from SS2 so we are going slow! Got myself a little planned run.
The cool thing is the changes to the settlements system which.. SS2 led to resource bloat and I was pulling like 20k caps from taxes, had so much scrap I never wanted for anything, etc. Like my little stashes at settlements became armories. Whisky takes an approach that really oriented scavenging and foraging into it. I'm running around looking for specific stuff like a ladle so I can build a cooking station.
You need just a small amount of resources to build stuff, but it's particular. Lumping a ton of junk items like tools together means a lot of stuff is just more useful to me. I absolutely love slowly picking through an old house to get cookware and booze for a bar I want to build.
I'm super into the settler built settlements mod tho and spent a good amount of time foraging and scavenging to leave the supplies at sunshine. No residents yet but I'm excited to see em do it.
Since I'm scrounging and doing a fair amount of cooking to heal I'm spending time just like sitting watching the sunrise somewhere. Too dangerous to go anywhere for a bit. Gotta chill with dogmeat and codsworth.
Can't handle first steps yet cos we won't be able to get past the super mutants and synths which is actually fine because I want to get in with the BoS BEFORE I become general because we will play the long game
So, just as a player’s note on my Zodiac Legacy, I don’t really play the conventional legacy rules. This might seem obvious since I’m doing a really short lifespan, but I felt the need to point it out in case it was confusing. I do, however, have some rules I follow under the cut.
Only female heirs.
Only biologically related heirs.
No money cheats after the initial build.
No mood boost rewards.
Inheritance can be used once by an elder.
Non-heirs/heir spouses must be moved out before they reach elder.
No premature age-ups.
No CAS spouses, pets, or roommates.
No moving off the start lot.
House decor MUST be updated when heir takes over. If there’s no money, color schemes must be manually changed with the design tool. (this is to punish myself for letting them not have money when I cheated on the start.)
No life extensions.
I’m choosing traits because part of this challenge for me is to recreate a year’s personality using the sims traits I have available. I’m also sticking to the color schemes that are ‘lucky‘ for a given year. I’m not really counting points.
Since I’ve never done a legacy before, I’m taking it easy and focusing on the story.
So while Belle was chasing after an old shipment of strange red honey, a mysterious and indistinctly gendered individual Hooded Figure finally got their Zubmarine built! Dear god. Those 20 Whirring Contraptions... dear god in heaven!.. Poor hooded thing spent weeks in Wilmot’s End. All those failed Watchful challenges... all those Nightmares...
*hooded thing barely reaches its lodgings and there collapses*

The original Craig Baird from my Sims 2 game (and Jodie). He was a bit of a weird one. He has what we in the Sims 2 world called “First Born Syndrome”. It was a bug/quirk/thing with the game where if you didn’t play your game in a certain sequence, all sims born would look like the first born. That’s what happened with Craig; he’s pretty much a clone of Clive.
In any case, I tried to make Craig’s personality different in Sims 2, by giving him different clothes and his own story in University. He ended up with a Uni townie and they moved off and did nothing after that.
Sims 4 Craig thankfully does not have First Born Syndrome. I let Talula’s and Garret’s genetics determine how he was going to look (same as I did with Jessie and Jodie). Just like Sims 2 Craig, I let him fall for a townie/premade Sim and Morgan happened to be the first girl who showed up that he liked.
I did move them into a nice little house in Oasis Springs, but I’m not sure yet if I will let them breed.
hooo boy, i really let this blog fall by the wayside, didnt i,,,
to give a really simplified explanation, playing sims became a lot more tedious and kinda not-fun while trying to make a story out of it. shrugs, just isn’t something for me, i guess;; i did have a few plans for wotw, but i’ll chuck em under a readmore in case anyone (mostly future!me) is vaguely interested lmao
Plan was that the two founders find a boarded up house, get in, and learn a bit about it’s history-- some kids were trying to find a cure for the zombies via alchemy after one of their parents got bit. They gave up after both parents turned/died and left to parts unknown, but a lot of their research was still available in the house.
so the founders settle down, do some scavenging, probably nearly die and have some ‘glad you’re alive’ woohoos, kid(s) are born, improvements to the house are made via water/electricity, etc.
Then one of the founders dies, and the other kinda shuts down and focuses only on the magic/alchemy stuff, leaving the kid(s) to fend for themselves. Just as the founder thinks they’ve figured it out, something goes wrong and the house catches fire. Their kid(s) try to get them to leave, but the founder is too close to a breakthrough. History repeats, and the kid(s) are left alone.
there were plans to have a generation interact with cannibals, a gen or two stuck in a fallout-esque underground vault, and thats about all i can remember off the top of my head whoops,,
but yeah! i guess i’ll leave the blog up for however long tumblr lets it exist, not sure if i’ll ever come back to it, though, outside of personal curiosity or while looking for some of the CC blogs i follow. see ya! 0:
Sorry for the radio silence, lately! I’m trying not to suddenly disappear (ha) again, but between setting up my art patreon, working on art commissions, actually making art, and rewatching some old shows, I’ve been a bit too distracted to work on the WotW legacy lately;;
I do really want to at least get through at least a couple generations, though, so i might have to set up a schedule of some kind for it, actually... Probably have it be a once a week type deal, not sure yet.
