Los postres abren el Festival de Otoño Sefardí
🇪🇸 El Festival de Otoño Sefardí ha comenzado en Plasencia con una destacada degustación de postres judeoespañoles, como la torta de miel, los marunchinos y las orejas de Hamán, que tuvo lugar el 2 de octubre de 2024, en la Oficina de Turismo, coincidiendo con el Año Nuevo Sefardí. Este evento marca la primera edición del festival, que se celebrará durante todo octubre. Entre los próximos actos se encuentra el Día del Perdón o Iom Kipur, programado para el 11 de octubre, que contará con una conferencia sobre temas sefardíes a las 11:00 en la Universidad Popular, seguida de un taller de yoga a las 12:00. El festival busca destacar la rica herencia cultural sefardí y ofrecer a los asistentes una variedad de actividades relacionadas con esta tradición.
🇺🇸 The Sefardic Autumn Festival has kicked off in Plasencia with a notable tasting of Judeo-Spanish desserts, such as honey cake, marunchinos, and Haman's ears, held on October 2, 2024, at the Tourist Office, coinciding with the Sephardic New Year. This event marks the festival's inaugural edition, which will take place throughout October. Among the upcoming events is Yom Kippur, scheduled for October 11, which will feature a lecture on Sephardic topics at 11:00 AM at the Popular University, followed by a yoga workshop at 12:00 PM. The festival aims to highlight the rich Sephardic cultural heritage and offer attendees a variety of activities related to this tradition.
