Fontaine de la Concorde with Luxor Obelisk in the background, Paris The Fontaines de la Concorde are two monumental fountains located in the Place de la Concorde in the center of Paris. They were designed by Jacques Ignace Hittorff, and completed in 1840 during the reign of King Louis-Philippe. The Luxor Obelisks (French: Obélisques de Louxor) are a pair of Ancient Egyptian obelisks, over 3,000 years old, carved to stand either side of the portal of the Luxor Temple in the reign of Ramesses II (c. 1250 BC). #placedelaconcorde #travelgram #travel #architecture #photooftheday #street #photo #cityphotography #streetphotography #fontaine #paris #travelphotography #citylife #picoftheday #instagram #cityscape #obelisk #france #luxor #parisjetaime #ladamedefer #fontainedesmers #parisfrance #parismonamour #visitparis #architecture #parisianlife #parismaville #instaparis #visitfrance #topparisphoto (at Paris, France) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClJygN6IJ3o/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
