My mom is always like “why are you so disprespectful?! Why do you keep talking back?! I’m your mom, have some respect,” yada yada but she also does the same to her own mom and dad, my grandparents. Does she think her age or the fact that she’s already an adult gives her an excuse to yell, curse and talk back at her own parents?! She’s such a hypocrite tbh. However you look at it, disrespect is disrespect. She keeps complaining about my attitude when I know full well that I got it from her. Why am I like this? Well, ask yourself how exactly you raised me. And what kind of family I was born into.
I got out of the bath a while ago and was planning to come to uni earlier than usual bc I had something to finish. When she saw me she was like “why are you up so early?” Her tone was so demanding and so out of instinct, I replied, annoyed, “I’m going to the library,”. Her reply came almost immediately. “Can’t you answer properly?!” smh. Who wouldn’t get pissed at the way she asked me? I can’t believe she even had the audacity to say that when she herself couldn’t ask her question properly.
