You guys have got to check out these amazingly groovy up-cycled lounge pants we have for you this morning !! I found these hand made beauties at our favorite local thrift. I think they were a mock up for a seamstress before she made her pattern from more expensive material , but they are perfect, fully finished, they even have pockets !! We have ice dyed them with fiber reactive dyes for a color fast finish that will keep them looking fab for years to come. Miss Wilbur-Clare making her grand debut previewing some new pantaloons that will be available very soon! I feel like a not insignificant part of my burgeoning sewing career has come full circle. I made my first fabric design because I wanted a pair of dick print pj pants. I got a serger in 2018 because I wanted to make those pj pants with well finished durable inside seams. In 2020 I bought a coverstitch machine because I wanted my exterior knit seams to have that same level of quality and finish. In 2020 I also decided to bring my fabric printing in house and got my very first custom roll made which lowered my per unit fabric cost significantly. Now in 2021 because of something that started back in 2018 I finally can share my absolute favorite pj pants and sweat pants with you all! I won't say any of this has been easy or lie that I don't worry constantly about failure. But I will say being able to sit here and see how much I've grown and learned that feels pretty good.
