Just skimmed this article after seeing a pjo youtuber post the announcement on my feed.

I'm so down for Hera and Demeter! I don't know how good they are as actors but their appearance is vibing with me. The actresses really capture the essence of the characters in my head, especially the Hera casting. I look at her and I see a queen.

As for Apollo...

As soon as I saw the Apollo casting my hopes were dashed and a wave of disappointment hit me.

Hubert looks more like Lester from TOA than Apollo in PJO. He has the boyish features which is great but...why does he look so plain and dour in his picture while the women look fabulous? Apollo is supposed to be fun and charming, could we not at least get a picture of him smirking or something??? Also I hoped for a blonde actor. He could wear a wig or dye his hair...but this show is so lazy when it comes to actors fitting their roles that I don't see this happening. The actors come first and the characters are a distant second. Just more blonde erasure in this show 😔
