“According to my calculations, it is approximately -10° outside,” Taehyung’s deep voice rumbles, and you laugh at the seriousness with which he makes the declaration.

This year, your friends, sad that you’d be lonely for the holidays, decided to gift you an android. It had been strange at first, having company around the house after so many years of being alone, but Taehyung brought a warmth to the house that you’d never experienced. Although programmed to keep you company, your heart always warmed when he woke you up to have breakfast together, or grasped you by the hand and took you to see the holiday lights in the town square.

Today, Taehyung seemed hell-bent on staying inside, despite your protests to bundle up and go for a walk in the snow.

“___, you’re always sniffling. And you never dress properly. Going out in the snow is not a good idea,” Taehyung chastises you.

“Pleeeeaaseee, I’ll dress extra warm! I thought you were supposed to be my friend?” you groan.

“And as your friend, I-,” Taehyung begins, stopping when he lays his eyes on your pouty lips and doe eyes. “Alright, fine. Thirty mins, and you better wear at least two layers.”

“YAY!” you squeak, jumping and tackling him to the ground in a hug. “I knew you were my favorite android for a reason.”

Twenty minutes later, and you avoid Taehyung’s smug stare as your teeth chatter in the cold wind. You know he’s itching to say “I told you so”, but you won’t let him win.

Sneakily, you decide to come up behind him, wrapping your arms around his torso and burying your face into his back.

“Is someone feeling a little chilly?” he teases.

“N-n-no!” you protest.

Taehyung playfully reaches behind him and unwraps your arms from around him.

“Alright then,” he smirks. “You can walk ahead.”

Your heart drops. But he was the one with the internal heating system!

Swallowing your pride, you decide you can’t bear a second longer in the cold. Jumping onto his back, you hear him let out a yelp as you wrap your arms around his neck.

“F-fine, you caught me! It’s s-s-s-so cold, but you’re so warm. Sue me!” you whine. “Now let’s go home.”
