okay, so the Pizza Man montage: I can see including Cas making out with Meg for context for their relationship, though a Then just for one throwaway line is kinda weird. I can also see including Ruby's pizza line to remind us she exists, despite not also including Sister Jo. I'm even willing to concede that eating is a theme of the episode because Jack is eating everything in sight--including a foreign object because he's a toddler--though the only pizza that appears this episode isn't actively being eaten.
But can someone please explain to me what the official straight explanation for a rapid succession of clips of Dean--and ONLY Dean--eating pizza is? The shipping lens I get, it'd be pretty hard not to, I'm just trying to figure out what we were supposed to take from that if not that Dean's the Pizza Man.
Especially since again, despite that being a significant chunk of the Then, this episode has nothing to do with pizza, nor does Cas show anyone The Pizza Man.
(This is only slightly rhetorical, someone please overexplain this to me.)
