Stop in at Fillmore’s Taste-In for some organic fuel, it could really lower your RPMs, man.

Here we have Fillmore’s Precision Series play set. It was released in 2016 exclusively at Toys R Us. I didn't find it on stores -- I picked it up on Mercari pre-owned for a steal of a deal!

Here’s how I did it.

1. I rotate the table 1.8 degrees and take a picture. Repeat 200 times until full 360 degree rotation. I could just record a video of the turntable spinning, but lighting and focus are harder to control with a video, especially in macro/close-ups. With photography I can control the exposure and aperture. So I do pics.

2. Load all of the pics onto the computer. Run a macro that I created that applies a contrast adjustment to the picture to make the foreground pop and make the background even closer to true black. This macro runs for all 200 pictures.

3. Load the updated pics into Vegas Pro. Make each picture duration super short (i.e. stop-motion!) and export as a video. Done!

My wife was digging through our Cars totes and came across an old release we had forgotten about. Well, I forgot. She didn't even know it existed.

Presenting Globie, the mascot for the World Grand Prix and its official alternative fuel, Alinol. Globie appears in Cars 2 at the final WGP race in the UK. When Professor Z's bomb fails to blow up Mater (sheesh), the professor smashes out a second story window and lands on a blow-up version of Globie, which cushions his fall. He doesn't get far though--Holley Shiftwell catches up and shows him who's boss

Hello good people of tumblr. This is my first post!

I am starting a microblog about my journey as a collector of Disney/Pixar Cars 1:55 diecast cars, made by Mattel. For those who don't know, Mattel is a leading company in the toy industry. They're best known for their original brands like Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Barbie. They have various licensed product lines too. Cars is one of them.

I've been a Cars collector since the first Cars movie came out in 2006. I was 7 years old at the time. It's now 2026, and I am 27 years old (the math checks out).

Recently, my wife and I re-launched an old Instagram account where we post short videos of our Cars Room (i.e. basement). The link is below. It's pretty neat, it's not your average horror-movie dungeon.

We are also working on a couple of really cool Cars-related projects. I can't share the details just yet, but trust me it's rad 🤙 More blog posts to come at a later date. Stay tuned!
