Hatched from the mixed magic of the living eternal flame and the legendary greenish-red dragon, surly this half breed should be more.... red, no?

Truly an outlier, for he hold no power of pyromancy! Born from flame and lava he is merely fire proof and able change temperature with a touch but can never spark the match. Then surely you can merely avoid his grasp to escape a melting fate, no? Melting perhaps, but the sweet smelling smoke and fumes he can exhale is not one you want to inhale, for even a second.

He holds a curiosity for cookies and growing up with some he has grown to enjoy a select fews company. More beastly looking as to resemble his draconian father he barely acts on instinct, merely on his self interest of entertainment and companionship, unless provoked otherwise.

Only the royal family of the Hollyberry kingdom seems to know him past his dangerous exterior. The kin of the halved Happiness, his dearest friend.

not an ovenbreak player but ive seen some snippets of the lore between pitaya to fsc and they dont seem like family at all???

are they actually family or is it just a headcanonn?

they're not family lol. and unlike millennial tree and wind archer, the evidence saying such is lackluster at best. in ovenbreak, before he became the guy we know abt today, fire spirit was just some mortal cookie unfortunate enough to fall into a pit of lava. while in excruciating pain, pitaya found him and he pleaded for help. pitaya decided to be nice that day and used magic to turn fire spirit into a proper guardian. we don't really know anything about fire spirit before his transformation, but we do know that pitaya stalks him sometimes. inch resting 🤔

yeah so there's no real indicator proving that they're family!! i personally like them because i fuck hard with the idea of pitaya being the only one who knows what fire spirit was like before, and the unspoken obsession they clearly have in the korean version of ovenbreak. and don't start thinking it's one sided cause fire sprit is talking about him. all the time. it's all so enriching for me cause they’re such closed off characters who rarely express their feelings outside of cockiness and frustration. just a really fun dynamic
