i paint pisanki/pysanky with traditional or modern designs
i decorate traditional pisanki/pysanky by scraping into the shell
i buy painted eggs/real or fake
i dye easter eggs with commercial dye

i celebrate easter but not with colorful eggs
i don't even go here
My latest creation - traditional Polish Easter eggs (called "pisanki"), wooden version. OK, maybe only partly traditional, because I used acrylic paints instead of beeswax and dyes.
The designs are not mine btw, I copied them from photos of some pisanki from Podlasie and Kujawy.

Unless I decide to buy a kistka and try out wax-resist pisanki dyeing. Keep your fingers crossed. At least it's a low-space requirement kind of craft.
Or I manage to buy egg-shaped glass ornaments that I can decorate for Easter the same way as I do with regular round ones for Christmas...
