For Inktober/Ponytober/Unitober Day 7 ("Starfish", "Creepypasta", "Pippsqueaks"). I guess the starfish showed up in a creepypasta or something; not sure how else to connect that prompt to this.

Synopsis: "Sorry, everypony, it seems our printer ran out of pink, purple, yellow, green, red—uh, well, all the colors except black, white, and blue! What to do with all this blue? Hmm… OH! Drumroll please…In Misty’s first comic appearance, everypony’s favorite blue pony is in Maretime Bay for a sleepover with the Mane 5! But when everypony wakes up…all the color is gone! It kinda looks like Violette and Skye’s favorite old TV show, Betwitched—at least the years it was in black and white—but everypony can still see blue for some reason. Determined to make the best of a gloomy situation, Vi and Skye put together a plan to spread cheer. Meanwhile, Izzy helps the distraught Misty see the beauty in messy situations using the power of unicycling! Join us for a magical one-shot of color calamity before returning to your regularly scheduled programs."

"Amanita muscaria? I hardly know 'uh!" Val is laughing, enough to snort, as a hand stays wrapped around one of Pip's arms. It's always at events that Val lets their femme side explode - a beautiful opalescent dress and its long kimono-like matching cover. The giant mushroom head sits almost like its meant to be perched on their head - the balancing act is so effortless, even as Val sips at a straw in their Halloween-themed cocktail. "But no, it's poisonous and psychoactive, don't eat them ever, yeah? Pretty, but scary." Val grins. "Are you dressed as a basketball player? Just a lucky guess."

"Are you gonna do shots with me, or just keep standing there making a face, pretending you don't think I look hot as a weird undead poltergeist?" Syd asks with arms crossed over his black-and-white striped chest. He could've easily found a 'sexy Beetlejuice' costume, but he'd gone for authenticity, and his hair was even dyed a greenish hue. Plus, layers. The jacket was gonna come off soon enough, either for dancing, fighting, or something else.

It's about damn time that Silas gets to step outside of the nightclub and into the night air, having gone at least a solid two hours without a cigarette in his mouth and that just isn't acceptable to him.  A moment to himself and to drop his façade as less high-strung than he actually is, it doesn't actually last that long.  Soon enough, he realizes his smoke is blowing into someone's face, and he's instantly apologetic.

"Shit, mate, I'm so sorry.  I hadn't realized you were that close and getting lungfuls of my secondhand smoke," he says it with a sheepish expression and the hint of a smile, furthering his attempt at appearing friendly and as sorry as he feels.

That fucker. That absolute fucker. He can see that tall asshole with the dumb handsome face through the large floor-to-ceiling windows of the old laundromat. And he's holding a hamper. Syd contemplates ducking under the counter, crawling out through the back door, and abandoning ship. Let the customers sort out their own dry-cleaning.

But Syd is trying to be responsible, and not get fired for once. So his lips form a hard line as the little bell dings over the door, and he taps his hands on the counter a bit hard. He could just say nothing, but that's not really Syd's style. "You walk into the wrong place, babe? The funeral home's a few blocks down. Could've sworn you were fuckin' dead, after all."
