There's this really neat headcanon I read in a TikTok comment about Pink that I thought I'd share! | What if the reason everyone acts almost irrationally when it comes to Rose/Pink Diamond is because one of her innate abilities is to charm everyone she comes into contact with? This could explain Jaspers desperation post-war, partially explain pearls obsession post-steven, and even as to why White Diamond didn't seem too furious at steven in season 5 (I know it was rushed, I fucking hate Cartoon Network) because her thinking was altered due to pinks charming ability. It's a little bit of a stretch, but I think it could help explain her dynamic with a lot of gems besides her pearls.
