@ KQ, just a tip, from someone that deals with boats a lot (especially small ones):
They don't act like this, not when they've got weight in them...
I was going assuming the boat he's in is a dinghy - it would've made more sense than an unrigged one to two person sailing vessel - but the inclusion of a centerplate housing, with the centerplate removed, implies that it actually is an unrigged sailing vessel. In case you were wondering, the housing is that rectangle with the long, thin opening in it that's sitting in the middle of the boat (best visible in picture two).
Another important observation, the boat itself is completely smooth, which gives me the impression it's fiberglass rather than wood or metal. With wood you would see the offset paneling from the planks, and with metal you would see the bumps from the rivets and/or welding that hold the plates together. Fiberglass is lighter than either wood or metal, which means the boat that Mingi is standing in is lighter and more unstable in the water that the alternatives.
But anyways...
Due to the uneven weight distribution, Mingi should've fallen overboard by now, especially in the second picture.
The first picture might work but it's a big, big maybe... Since Mingi is standing in the stern and we can't see what's in the bow, there might be an anchor to offset his weight. This would work if the anchor was heavy and if it was as far forward in the bow as possible, since Mingi is pretty far back in the stern. However, given that the rest of the boat is empty, I doubt it has an anchor at all. Plus, given the size of the vessel, the anchor would be small and light, so it wouldn't do much to maintain equilibrium like the picture shows.
In the second picture, Mingi is sitting on the port side gunwale of the dinghy. Given that there's nothing visible in the boat at all other than him, I'm running with the assumption that there is, in fact, nothing but Mingi on board. With the much smaller distance between where the weight is (Mingi), the middle of the boat, and the starboard gunwale, physics dictates that Mingi should've flipped the boat over as soon as he sat down. Especially since the material of the boat is most likely fiberglass.
Like yeah, I get it was a stylistic choice.. I have to admit, having the boat be realistically tipped wouldn't have looked nearly as good. But still, seeing the boat not act like it should've in the situations made me go a smidge nuts, so.. yeah!
