After spending six days backpacking in Kootenay National Park, Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park, and Banff National Park I used the car I rented and drove a large area around Banff. One of the places I visited was here at Bow Lake on the Icefields Parkway (also known as Highway 93) between Lake Louise and Jasper National Park. There is a parking lot/pullout at the north end of the lake which captures a different view of Bow Lake. I wanted to capture more of the lake so I drove another 1.5 miles south and parked at a pullout on Highway 93. This image is what I got.
