Tervon kaivauksissa on löytynyt muun muassa muinaisihmisten arkeen liittyneitä tököttiä ja purupihkaa. - Tökötti on koivun tuohesta tislattua tervaa, jota on voitu käyttää moneen asiaan, esimerkiksi saviastioiden tai teräaseiden liimaamiseen. Purupihka on myös tököttiä, siitä on joskus löytynyt hampaiden jälkiä eli sitä on pureksittu, arkeologiopiskelija Jasse Tiilikkala kertoo.
