But let me just say, that I admire his tenacity. It’s one thing when I lose a match, but Raihan always gets to the top bracket, then gets his ass kicked while he’s there. The difference between 1st and 2nd place can be the difference between heaven and hell. He keeps it cool in a match. He’s real sportsman like. He’s a good winner as well. I still felt respected when he beat my arse during our last match.

Piers would like to be a well fortified mental fortress but he really is far from it. Little things do get to him from time to time and these stick to him like he’s flypaper. It’s made worse still since Piers has the unhealthy approach of completely disregarding his sensitivity and hurt feelings. The bigger the problem the worse he copes.

Self blame is something he tends to struggle with,so if there is any way he could be responsible for problems, he’s likely to lash out at himself before anyone one else. Depression really rears its ugly head, leaving him something of a zombie: disconnected from what’s happening in the moment. Sleeping in, becoming reclusive... It’s not great. He usually vents it in the form of preforming music but that’s literally the extent of self care he’ll do. Even then, he’d be more likely to obsess and over work which stresses him out. At his worst, he’d trash and destroy things to vent his anger with whatever misfortune has befallen him.
