Santa Monica Pier Pre-Pandemic.

Tue. 01/26/16 enjoying Venezuelan food at #CoupaCafe in #BeverlyHills, a walk through the #HollywoodHallOfFame Admiring the legendary #CapitolRecords on #VineStreet driving to #VeniceBeach to watch the #Sunset on the #WestCoast #California. Walking for 40 minutes to the #SantaMonicaPier to admire scenes I've only seen on TV or movies, pretty cool! Stopped to eat a hotdog at #PierBurger and the person who took our order asked us where we are from, and apologized that maybe their hotdogs were not as amazing as the East Coast. A West Coast - East Coast apology moment; that was sweet! Their hot dogs were pretty tasty, Yum! Enjoyed walking back another 40 minutes to get the car and drove to downtown #LosAngeles to meet up with Christina a friend we met through the Cohen family. She wanted to try to walk over the 6th Street Bridge and Mateo street on its last opened night before closing it before getting torned down for the reconstruction process. We found out earlier that many people were protesting and the police had to block the entrance to the bridge. So what was supposed to be a photography opportunity turned out to be a conflictive night for everyone who wanted to cross the bridge to say goodbye. The police officer near the entrance was very defensive and treated us loudly as we tried to get closer to him to figure out if we could enter and walk across the bridge. It seemed as if he was already charged up based on what happened earlier that night. We were all very sad because we didn't understand what had happened earlier. We searched on Instagram and Twitter and saw a few people's postings on the #6thStreetBridge and understood the officer's defensive stand and the bridge's earlier closure. Christina had to get gas and food before taking us for a tour around downtown LA. Christina googled the nearest place and found #TacoKing. After she ate, she drove us around to several streets before we headed back to #Anaheim.
