Casual day with me out. Saved a sweet pidge, she was at the side of the road, not moving, and I was afraid for her safety. I thought maybe she's not moving because something was wrong with her leg, as it often is in the city, so I picked her up gently and held her to check up on her. She let me give her a few pets and scritchies before she flew off safely from my hand. I was relieved and don't worry tooo much either, because the square I found her next to has running water in the form of a fountain and a misting arch, so if she (and other birds) are thirsty, they can definitely drink.
