Durham Regional Police were investigating the scene after four people were shot at near the Pickering Ribfest on Saturday night. Police said the shooting happened at about 11 p.m., as the event at Esplanade Park was wrapping up for the night. A 20-year-old Pickering man, a 30-year-old North York man, a 17-year-old boy from Ajax and a 16-year-old boy from Ajax were the victims. All four people's injuries are considered non-life threatening. June 3, 2018.
