We received another submission with evidence of Bat_ sending potential scam trades.
In this case, the submitter had just joined the site and the pet Bat_ was attempting to take was a D18. Although one of these pets is around the same value and many would consider it fair, the rest of the options are very obviously and severely unfair. As the submitter was new, this comes across like an attempt to overload a new player with options or trick them into selecting something which is not fair but looks more exciting.
They cancelled the trade after asking for advice and thankfully didn't lose their pet.

(We noticed Bat's username uses an atypical smaller underscore (Batˍ) rather than the way we had previously been writing (Bat_). We can't tell if this was a recent change or we just never noticed. For convenience, we'll keep using Bat_.)
For our previous post on Bat_, click here.
We received a submission from another user who claims to have narrowly avoided a scam attempt from Bat_. The trade is very large in pet numbers and can't easily fit into screenshots, so we've broken it up, but we have verified the trade link is real.
Of note, most of the pets on the victim's side are hoard pets of big-name traders and hoarders on the site, or are otherwise high-demand designs, so it's clear that Bat_ wanted these pets exclusively to trade with these hoarders and not for their own collection.
According to the victim, they had been very open about being a very casual player over the last couple of years and not knowing trade values (this was written in their trade rules or a trade thread), and they believe this is why Bat_ attempted a scam trade with someone who is not a particularly new user.
Although the values are not very high in this trade, the lower estimate on Bat_'s side is more than 5x smaller than the average estimate on the victim's side. All of Bat_'s pets were from 2024-2025, and almost all were OMGSC-VC, with a couple of recent event uncommons included.
The victim sought advice on the trade and was told it was a scam, so they edited it to something much smaller and fairer, which was then accepted.
We believe this is more clear evidence of Bat_ trying to scam people. In values alone it's obviously a scam, but trying to snatch high-demand pets or rarer hoards is very deliberate.
ID 261596 (Batˍ, Phroggy, Cemetery Princess ♛, etc.)
This user constantly changes their username in order to avoid detection and continue scamming people, and some of their usernames may have since been taken by completely different users; the user currently known as sharky (1001960) is NOT the same person and is innocent.
Always identify this scammer by their user ID first, not their username. We will watch them and constantly update with their latest usernames, but we recommend blocking pre-emptively and warning any of your friends on CS.
Current username: Batˍ (atypical underscore ˍ, not _)
Known previous usernames: Bat_(?), Deer!, Deer_, Phroggy, sharky, Cemetery Princess ♛
Do not contact scammers or potential victims. No need to take anything with a pinch of salt - this person is absolutely prolific and deliberate, with evidence.
We took a look at this user, currently going by Bat_ at the time of writing (which we will use for this post), after noticing them on a salty-cs post about scammers. It turns out we had both already blocked this person after noticing likely scam activity around December 18 and set their username aside to look into at some point without realising it was the same person.
By searching their ID on @salty-cs, we found several other posts which mentioned their various usernames, each of which can then be searched for individually. In each case, there were more posts about their scamming.
Thankfully, other users had already done most of the hard work here in finding evidence of their scams. We will repost their evidence and add our own comments, but we will also link to the original posts when drawn from directly. Please note that pets linked in the posts may have been transferred to other users by now.
The largest post we could find on Bat_ (then going by Cemetery Princess) came from the user @stinkytinkys, who did a deep dive and found plenty of evidence. This post was made just over a year ago, which means all of these username changes have happened SINCE that point.
stinkytinkys used the same kind of evidence we do around December 18 and found that Bat_ had many pets from new users, suggesting multiaccounting or scamming. A friend of theirs managed to contact one of the victims after noticing they had no D18s, and got this screenshot of the trade from the victim's side.
stinkytinkys' friend informed the victim they had been scammed via DMs.
The friend also contacted Bat_ personally and received a very telling response. It's clear this user is fully aware of what they're doing and has no shame in it whatsoever - stealing from kids and newbies is just something they consider fair game, it seems.
Further evidence from stinkytinkys' post shows that they successfully baited Bat_ by pretending to be a new user, and Bat_ skirted around stating anything "concrete" about values, while deliberately trying to steal rare and valuable items from the bait-victim without disclosing the rarity or value of them.
Since that post, other users have sent more asks with more commentary and evidence about Bat_'s scamming. One user shared a trade link that Bat_ sent to their friend, attempting to scam, and found more circumstantial evidence that they had stolen other pets. Another user noticed that Bat_, by this time going by Phroggy, had been scattering stolen D18s across random groups and covering them with backgrounds in dress-up in order to "disguise" what they were doing and avoid detection. This absolutely shows clear intent and full knowledge of what they're doing.
By searching any of Bat_'s known usernames - with the exception of "Bat_" itself, which appears not to have been mentioned yet - you can find multiple posts on the salt blog of people claiming to have received scam trades from them in the past.
This is one of the most well-known scammers on the site, but unfortunately they keep avoiding detection thanks to username changes and CS's rules on not calling people out. Everyone should be made aware of this user.
We would like to see more evidence of scam trades from this person is possible, so consider checking your histories and sending us the evidence.
Additionally, they send a lot of pets to user H.a.n.z (ID 1107463). While this post is not about them, we believe people may want to decide for themselves if they would want to trade with someone who benefits massively from Bat_'s scamming, whether or not they're aware of it.
Even when other scammers may currently have more evidence or even scam more often, Bat_ is one of the few where we have direct evidence that they're fully aware that they're scamming and they don't care, as well as a record of extremely obvious attempts at hiding from community awareness.
You suck, Bat_. Grow up and stop stealing from children.
Edit: Just in case there was any doubt, since we mostly used evidence from other people here, we took a glance at Bat_'s valuable pets. In every instance below, there was nothing in the victims' accounts which would be remotely fair in exchange.
Edit 2: A second evidence post was made after we received a direct submission, showing another scam attempt.
